Government agencies often encounter barriers to communicating, collaborating, sharing information, and implementing seafood traceability programs. SALT partnered with Virgil group to identify barriers that may limit interagency collaboration.
This summary provides an overview of the identified barriers —Legal, Behavioral, Budgetary, and Procedural—and makes recommendations to tackle these barriers for improved adoption and execution of seafood traceability programs.
