SDGs and ESG management from sustainable fish in 2020

As the reduction of marine resources and the marine plastic problem become global issues, the activities of “Sustainable Seafood” to sustainably produce and consume marine resources in order to leave a rich fish food culture and marine ecosystem in the future , Involving countries, companies, NGOs, regions and consumers. Now that less than a year has passed since the Olympics that advocated “sustainable procurement”, there has been an increase in sustainable seafood in convenience stores, restaurants, and company employee cafeterias.

Sustainable seafood initiatives that include solutions to various issues and market potential, such as marine environmental conservation, supply chain management, IoT utilization, and regional revitalization, are one of the pillars for companies to promote SDGs / ESG management. At the same time, ESG investors are starting to evaluate it.

This year, we will discuss the world’s pride in resource management and technologies that eliminate illegal fishing, and introduce examples that have led to increased value for companies and towns through collaboration with various stakeholders, and contribute to ESG management and SDGs We will create a movement to accelerate the event with everyone at the venue.
