Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act

This act imposes sanctions on Iran, Russia, and North Korea. For goods to be imported into the U.S., Custom Border Patrol must find by clear and convincing evidence that the goods were not produced with convict, labor, or indentured labor. The act reiterates the need for comprehensive due diligence by and on behalf of companies importing goods into the U.S.
